March

This was a relatively quiet month. Here’s a bit of what happened.

  • Started vegetable seeds for the garden. Planted indoors using the very nifty portable green house that my husband gave me for Christmas. I planted some of the first sprouts outside in a sun box, but something nibbled them away!
  • Started the house hunt in earnest. We’ve been renting since we moved to the DC region nearly three years ago. Now that the local housing prices have stopped their crazy climb and have started slipping back toward Earth, we just might be able get our foot in the door…so to speak.
  • Drafted a plan for the summer. Specifically, camps and activities for the kids. The youngest will enjoy a sampler of camp activities. It is my hope that the elder will start his first job and split his time with volunteer work (a requirement for high school graduation in Maryland).
  • Shared a series of colds with loved ones.

About Sister Notes

I'm a sister, mother, cousin, and aunt. My family and friends are spread all over and it seems we rarely make the time to connect with each other. I hope that by blogging we can connect and share those little tidbits and life lessons that keep us going each day!
