I Am a Pencil: A Teacher, His Kids, and Their World of Stories, by Sam Swoope

This is the book that I’m currently reading. It’s a bitter-sweet tale by a writer who shares his experience teaching a writing workshop in Queens, New York, over a period of three school years.

I’m not finished yet, but so far I’m truly enjoying it. I’ll give you a more detailed review when I get to the end.
