Water for People is on their way toward meeting their goal, but they could still use some help.
Water for People is one of my favorite charitable organizations. It may have something to do with my having made a career out of providing clean water for people and the environment. While in the USA, clean water seems practically free (that is unless you buy it in a bottle, but that’s another story…) for about 884 million people around the world, safe drinking water is highly costly or simply not accessible.
But then, safe drinking water is neither the beginning nor the end point for healthy living if there’s no place for that drinking water to go, um when it’s time to “go”. Did you know that November 19th was World Toilet Day?! For about 2.5 billion people in the world, not having a sanitary place to “go” is no joke. Water for People helps provide these too.
