What to do?
After reading Take the Risk
by Dr. Ben Carson, I can’t help but think that God has made us to do wondrous things. As I approach the end of 2008, I’m thinking deeply on just what my contribution to the world is supposed to be. Dr. Carson is one of the many people from whom I draw inspiration. Reading their stories, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been just a wee bit lazy with the gifts and priviledges that God has bestowed on me.
So, with today being the official kick-off to the holiday festivities, I’m extremely thankful for all the people around me. And, I’m especially thankful to have my Dad around…[here's why]. This year I intend to simplify the season so that I can focus on what’s truly important to me.
