what: benefit program to collect donations for UNICEF to provide clean drinking water

why: UNICEF’s goal is to reduce the number of people without safe water and basic sanitation by 50 percent by 2015, wow!
how: participating restaurants ask their patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free.
Spread the word, gather your friends and support a local home-grown restaurant at the same time! If you don’t find one of your favorite restaurants on the list, it’s not too late to ask them to participate (though it is too late to ask them to register…).
