I first learned about Angelique Kidjo several years ago in an interview on NPR’s World Café. I was impressed by the philosophies for living and learning from others that she described. Her music has since become part of my family’s soundtrack.
Ms. Kidjo is a UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador who has created Batonga! to help girls in Africa achieve secondary and higher education. To me, she’s a Wondrous Woman!
